The best way to cook perfectly steamed dumplings.
Bring half a pot of water to boil.
Add your dumplings, but make sure not to overcrowd the pot with too many dumplings (tempting though, we know).
Let your dumplings cook for 2 minutes.
Add some cold water to your pot to lower the water temperature and allow the meat inside to cook through. This method helps prevent the skins from over cooking.
Let cook for 1 minute at medium heat.
Repeat steps 4 - 5 two more times.
Scoop your dumplings out of the pot, serve, and enjoy with our go-to simple dumpling sauce.
